I'm so sweet and I need a foster or forever home!

This stray female was found - 33 lbs. terrier mix, pit-type head, little-bitty body and long skinny tail. 1-2 years old, sweet as can be needs a foster or forever home. She was found skinny and recently in a fight with injuries that are being treated with antibiotics. She's doing very well and is extremely friendly, even with small children. She would love a forever home, but if we can find her a foster home for about 6 months, we would be willing to train her during the day, for free and gift her to a veteran in need of a Service Dog.

From her current foster...

Her temperament seems to be really good:
  • • She doesn’t fight on walks and will walk at my side without issue.
  • • She’s interested in, but doesn’t challenge other people or animals. Though, she does like to chase lizards and geckos.
  • • She was incredible at PetSmart, even with the yappy dogs wearing sweaters.
  • • She hasn’t reacted negatively to kitty, even while kitty is complaining from the other side of the window.
  • • She doesn’t seem aggressive with food – I can move her food dish and she just follows it. No growling or anything. I can take a bone away from her without trouble too.
  • • She showed utter indifference to our 6 year old the first night, though played with her some yesterday.
  • • She does like to lay on your lap and have her neck rubbed.
  • • She hasn’t barked at all, yet.
